Singapore special at Crowne Plaza

Crispy Fish in Home-Made Superior Light Soy

Crowne Plaza Doha The Business Park has kicked off a Singapore special for two weeks from September 28 till October 11 at their Aramede Restaurant – the Hotel’s all-day dining.

The menu is developed by Singaporean Chef Sam Leong, known as Singapore TV’s King of the Kitchens. Chef Sam’s culinary journey began in the kitchen with his father who taught him Chinese Singaporean Cuisine. He runs his own restaurant Forest, named after his wife, in Singapore.

The chef will not be present here in Doha, instead Crowne Plaza Executive Chef Dominique Morin and his team will re-create Chef Sam’s dishes like tempura lychee stuffed with crab meat, wasabi prawns, and crispy sea bass with home-made superior light soy sauce.

They have been running these international culinary events with recipes by celebrity chefs. The specials by Indian Chef Vikas Khanna  and Thai Chef Ian Kittichai were very good. Missed the the Australian one, but this looks really promising.
