Signature by MARZA: Not a review, nor a promotion

Note: This feature is not a restaurant review or promotional content, but a summary compiled from publicly accessible sources including press releases and social media updates... just to introduce a new restaurant which people are talking about for all good reasons. Not an endorsement...try and comment...

Doha’s ever-evolving culinary landscape has a not-so-new entrant. Tucked off Salwa Road near Midmac Roundabout, Signature by MARZA opened its doors in April 2025 and has since generated significant interest across social media and word of mouth.

Signature by MARZA positions itself as Qatar’s largest multi-cuisine dining destination, a title that’s backed up by its sheer scale. But the pricing is very value for money...

The venue spans three expansive floors:

Two dedicated to global dining experiences

One upper-level designed specifically for events, housing a 350-seat banquet hall, a 100-seat multipurpose room, a 25-seat conference facility, and even a bridal suite

Chai Story: A 24-Hour Ode to Nostalgia

Adding character to the restaurant is Chai Story, a charming 24-hour tea corner located within the venue. Drawing inspiration from classic South Indian tea shops, Chai Story serves a rotating menu of traditional snacks such as Kaiipolla, Unnakkai, and Irachippattil, alongside samovar-brewed tea — all day, every day.

It’s envisioned as a community space where casual conversations and midnight cravings find a home, offering both residents and visitors a nostalgic culinary detour.

Signature Flavours and Popular Picks

The culinary offering at Signature by MARZA reflects a strong South Indian influence with broader international elements. Some of the most talked-about dishes include:

Thalassery Mutton Biryani – an aromatic, layered classic with roots in Kerala

Pothi Biryani – slow-cooked biryani wrapped in banana leaves

Kerala Meals, Nandan Chicken Fry, and other homestyle dishes

They keep introducing various promotions, like the one they had in June, where Kerala Buffet lunch was available for QR15, which was a viral hit among diners. Later they had another lunch offer for QR19 with some Malabar delicacies.

The grand launch on April 4, 2025, drew a significant crowd and media attention. The event featured South Indian actor Asif Ali and was attended by several regional influencers and vloggers.

While it’s too early to assess its long-term impact, Signature by MARZA has made an undeniable first impression. Whether through its vast menu, 24-hour tea bar, or capacity to host milestone occasions.
