Tried this Sambuka from South Africa. It tastes like all other aniseed flavoured drinks I had before. A little more stronger, flavour wise, than say Pernod. According to the label its a shooter. We tried two shots and then shifted back to vodka.
I am not much of a fan of aniseed or the likes when it comes to drinks. In food a little bit is okay - it adds to the flavour, but aniseed flavoured drinks are not my cup of tea.
so I ve a full bottle left with me... need to find some takers.... maybe next party I will put it into some cocktails....
