Chinese Food Festival kicked off at Lifestyle Restaurant at Barwa Village (on the way to Wakra).
According to reports they are promising more than 40 varieties of vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes. Menu includes Tomato Egg Drop Soup, Dragon Whisker Prawns, Crispy Konchee Beef, Singapore Crab, Sea Treasure Stir Fry, Vegetable Kung Pow, Thupka Noodles and dates pancakes.
Sounds yummy and delicious. Their food is generally good and covers a wide variety of cuisines.
I was not very impressed of the service the last time I went... and a friend who visited the festival on Friday said the same... he ordered for take away and the wait was pretty long and on top of it got a completely different packet... Obviously he was pissed and got his money back.
But I would still give it a go as they are usually decent with food... and i don't mind suffering some bad service for great food....
The festival will run till February 25 and is open from 6.30pm to 11.30pm on weekdays and 11.30am to 3.30pm and 6.30pm to 12 midnight on weekends.
