Carluccio’s launches Ramadan menu

The Italian casual dining restaurant and food shop in The Pearl-Qatar Carluccio’s has introduced its Ramadan menu.

The two course menu is priced at QR109 and the three course one at QR129. The menu comes complimentary with dates and features salads, soups and bread, main course and Italian and Arab desserts, as well as juice and dried fruit.

Acording to the restaurant some of the dishes to watch out for are ‘Agnello Brasato’ (braised lamb shank with rosemary mash), ‘Cappellacci al Ragu’ (pugliese egg pasta with beef ragu, peas and parmesan cheese) and ‘Risotto Gamberi a Granchio’ (a creamy prawn and crab risotto with courgette and basil paste).

Rounding off the feast is a selection of desserts including the classic Tiramisu, Torta Limone, Fondente, Ramadan flavoured Gelati of dates/saffron/rose water and Mint and Lemon Sorbetto.

Carluccio’s is located at La Croisette 18 at The Pearl Doha, and for Ramadan is open daily for Iftar and Sohor from 6:45pm until 12:30am during weekdays and from 6:45pm until 1:00am during weekends.


Special 4-course Iftar menu at Paul

Paul Bakery & Restaurant will be having a special Ramadan 2015 four-course French menu during a private media gathering at its outlet in Lagoona Mall, Doha.

The meal will start with a Jallab or Amareddine traditional refreshing drink, followed by a choice of two soups, two salads, three main course options from beef to chicken to fish stews and as dessert, a special Ramadan flavour: dates ├ęclair.

Paul is offering two special Ramadan croissants for the season with sesame, rose water and dates flavour.

Paul branches will be open for take away as of 8am and for dine-in as of Iftar time.
